Muchi in Beijing

As promised!
Pictures when Muchi was in Beijing :))

Day 1:

Picked Muchi at BCIA (Beijing Capital International Airport-red)

Checked into the room at my dormitory, then straight away pay Tian An Men a visit…in the cold cold cold winter night. The wind was super cold that night.

And had dinner after we went back home…

Day 2:

Took a one-day city tour to Chang cheng (The greatwall) and Ming Tombs.

First stop:

Ming tombs

And the toilet there are star-rated!!

Four star-rated! Lol

Ermm..sorry, too dark..-_-“

We made these coins…

Second stop:
Jade Gallery

This pretty leng lui was our guide there…

The jade there were so oh-mai-god-i-want-them-all!!!

Read the sign carefully. It says “watch your STAIRS, be careful with slippery floor”.

LOL!!

Watch your stairs…

Hello, mister. Can you gimme some advice??

Hey, boy! your breath stinks! Go brush your teeth lar!

Nah…in the end Muchi and I just made chinese name stamps like those old old stamps from the old old dynasty..those red color wan.. šŸ˜€

After lunch, we moved on to Badaling Chang Cheng!

The greatwall has a lot of entries from different sides of Beijing. This entry (Badaling) is the most popular among the people, and it is crowded…Different from the JinShanLing Chang Cheng I went with my school last time. There weren’t many people there, and the scenery is also fascinating. The difference with Badaling is just the amount of visitors. Lol

Then, last stop:
Silk factory.

We could see how they make the silk from the pulp…

I did try as well! šŸ˜€

Super expensive bed linen. RMB13,000!!

He is applying for a job there…

And that’s the end of our city tour today šŸ™‚

Day 3:
Since it was Sunday, we went to church first thing in the morning…

Continued with a visit to Yong He Gong Lama Temple…

After that, it’s time for Dimsum!! šŸ˜€

Then, continued our journey to Tian Tan (Temple of Heaven)

Then then then…Wang Fu Jing!

Enjoying tid-bits at the snack street there…

And not forgetting a visit to the olympic store! (Psstt…he shop a lot there..Lol)

And McD for supper…*hey, winter makes people hungry faster laaa..lol*

Day 4:

It’s a day for Tian An Men. A trip to Beijing won’t be complete without a visit to Tian An Men and Gu Gong (The Forbidden City)

Breakfast…breakfast…

Then…

Then we moved on to Bei Hai Park

But since it was winter, the sky was already dark at 5pm… So we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful scenery there -_-“

See? only can see the lanterns…

Then we went to Tian An Men Square as we haven’t visit there when we visited Tian An Men and Gu Gong…

Day 5 (Last Day):

It was my 21st Birthday and our 1st anniversary as well *clap hands and jumps around the room with glee*
Weeee…gonna post my birthday pics on other post.

So on that day, we went to Tian Tan (again) the first thing in the morning, because when we went there before, it was already 4pm, so we couldn’t get in to see the temple and stuffs, only able to walked around in the park…

If you come here in the morning, you can see LOTS of people dancing, doing sports, gambling, knitting, playing music, singing (individual or in a group), some street performer, etc.
And those who gamble are old people! Don’t pray pray! hahahaha…

Then to waste our time before dinner, we went to the Capital Museum. It was interesting! šŸ™‚

Intruder..intruder!! Alert alert!

Until the clock strikes 5:30 pm, then we headed to have our dinner at Jade Palace Hotel.

SUSHI BUFFET!! me like me like!! šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€

When I saw one of the plates..

Ehh..Genki Sushi ar??

There are lots of different types of sushi. Some are weird, tho…

i.e: Banana sushi, Redbean sushi, Sushi with chicken floss and raisins, etc.

And that closes the travelogue of Muchi in Beijing :))
