Before the year closes

Anyway, was in Magelang and Solo from Dec 27th – yesterday. So here’s a sneak peek of what I had been doing/seeing/eating:

When a 15-mins-journey became a 90-mins

I just spent 1.5 hours+ on the road from Ambasador Kuningan to my office here at Wolter Monginsidi……..

….which normally can be reached within 15 minutes….

Yea I know, wt*peep* right? lol

So it was like this. 5 of my colleagues and I wanted to go to Ambasador to have our lunch. Since 2 of them was going to fetch an ex-colleague of theirs, they went by a different taxi while another 3 girls and I shared a taxi. And so we off, at 1pm something.

The journey to Ambasador was all smooth. No jam or whatsoever.

We reached there, eat, bought DVDs (oops..lol), bla bla bla until 2pm something, then we proceed to the main gate to look for a taxi to go back tto the office. Fyi, it was already raining cats and dogs at that time.

Okay, so we were waiting at the entrance only to see lots of people fighting for taxis -_____-
Not exactly fight as in ‘fight’, but it was like you gotta stop the taxi quickly and run there before other people can touch the door. Lol

So like that lor. And we waited for around 10 minutes or so until it was 2:30 pm and we finally got our taxi.

By that time, the road outside Ambasodor was already flooded.

The main streets we passed by were all flooded quite deep. Motorists had to park their vehicles at the road sides as the water would go until exhaust-deep.

The road was freaking jammed!! And 4 of us were seating at the back seat. Looks like no one wanted to seat in front. LOL

Luckily we are all slim :p

After 1.5 plus of oh-so-bad traffic jam, we finally arrived at the office, safe and sound.

Pictures coming up. I didn’t bring my digicam and so I had to use my cell, and I didn’t bring the transfer cable with me.

Going back tomorrow

I’ll be going back to Jakarta tomorrow. But will stop by at one of the cities we’re gonna pass by to overnight. My Dad’s not gonna do a long-haul drive from Solo to Jakarta in one day. It’s too far and kesian him le.

Photos update after I’ve reached home 🙂

Anywayyy…

Happy Idul Fitri for my Moslem friends! 🙂
mohon maaf lahir batin (you forgive me or not?)

SIngapore oh Singapore…I miss KL…

I’ve left KL yesterday afternoon and headed to the land of lion.

So now I’m stranded in Singapore. Lol.
Not really stranded lar. I’ll be here for approx 5-6/7 days.

So how the hell am I here in the land of lion? Well, to spend my holiday, and to look for a scoop of diamonds (if you get what I mean. lol)

But honestly, I’d prefer KL to Singapore although I’ve been here for lots of times before. Maybe cos I’ve spent 3 years in Malaysia before, so I kinda like it there.

What I like about Singapore?
1. The safety
2. The cleanliness
3. The way they arrange everything neatly in order
4. The convenient public transport.
5.

Can’t think of any. lol

Ohhhh I miss KL >.<

Anyway, gotta go. Gonna meet Hui2 and Doris Jie2 in Orchard to have lunch together 🙂

Home sweet home =D

I am home!! 😀 😀 😀

After a long haul flight, I’ve finally reached my home sweet home in Jakarta ^^

Luckily, there was no delay, and we were allowed to have excess baggages (our baggages were all overweight, anyway. LOL). 11 of us and all of us brought loads of stuffs back home. Just some who brought not that many.

From BJ-GZ we used China Southern. The plane isn’t really nice, but it’s ok la.

Otw from Guang Zhou – Jakarta, when we were supposed to have landed, we didn’t. So a friend and I were like “why this plane isn’t landed until now?”.

After awhile, we had an announcement from the captain that there was a problem with the motor, but now it’s solved. We was like o_O OMG, a problem with the MOTOR? It can’t be taken that simply right? Luckily there was nothing bad happened. Phewwwww….Sooo relieve.

BUTTTT…still, I’ve missed my flight to KL!!!! Dammit!!
Need to look for a new tix, but just now I’ve tried to search online, and all of the major airlines’ are expensive T______________T

Pray I can get a cheaper tix tmrw…

Stupido dumb dumb airline

Note: this was typed when I felt quiet angry with the stupido airline.

I’m supposed to go back to Jakarta TOMORROW, but suddenly earlier on the Garuda person called me to inform the our flight tomorrow is CANCELLED! wtf!
They said that the airplane broke down.

Ok la, still can understand that since I know Garuda is not a first class airlines like Cathay Pacific, SQ, or what. BUT, what pisses me off is…

WHY COULDN’T THEY MAKE A FLIGHT FOR US WITH ONE OF THEIR JOINT AIRLINES?? HOW IF THE PASSENGERS REALLY NEED TO GO BACK TO JAKARTA TOMORROW?!!

And I’m one of them. I am supposed to go to Malaysia this coming MONDAY, but because of the stupid dumb dumb airlines, I couldn’t manage to go there. Sumore, my tix to KL is the Super Saver one, and MAS said I can’t change the date. So there goes my (mum’s) USD 51!! (Yeah, it’s super cheap. the tix price itself is USD0 -YES, you read it correctly..ZERO! and so I just had to pay for the tax which is USD 51)

What’s more, they can’t even give me a refund for my loss of tix to KL!!

It is our sincere hope that through such efforts Garuda will remain a source of great national pride for Indonesia, and that we will continue to be one of Asia’s most respected airlines

That sentence was taken from Garuda Indonesia’s website.

Yeah, so much for the respected airlines. You won’t be respected! Even the service you offer is NOT worth the money. For our flight to Beijing, you use Boeing 737-800 which the aisle is NARROW, and the seats arrangement is 3 – 3. What’s more? the seats are small you can hardly be comfortable on them! And there’s no individual TV in front of your seat. Can you imagine a long-haul flight of approximately 8 hrs (including the transit time in Spore), without any TV? O-M-G! Do you think we just want to sleep in the plane? Get real la, you stupidos!

And you are already famous for OFTEN being delayed, I mean your flights. Can you, as the biggest airlines in Indonesia, make some changes and prove yourself as the SOURCE OF GREAT NATIONAL PRIDE FOR INDONESIA???!!!! YOU CERTAINLY ARE NOT A GREAT NATIONAL PRIDE!! Well, at least for me!

Cathay Pacific offers MUCH MUCH BETTER services.
~!@#$%&*

Edit: I’m going to fly home tomorrow at 9:15. No more transit in Singapore, but in Guang Zhou. Will reach Jakarta around 19:35

And for the BJ-GZ flight, I’ll be using either China Southern/Air China/…,whereas from GZ-JKT I’ll be using Garuda.
